CONCEPT ‘S’

Concept-s is not just an association, but it is the Concept, the perception, the notion, the thought by the students, for the students and of course of the students.

The concept-S is the student’s council here at IDEAS. The council is responsible for encouraging activities like managing different EVENTS, reflecting CULTURES and searching the inner talent which is hiding somewhere in each and every student, PUBLICATION works contributed by everyone, MAINTENANCE required for maintaining the neatness of college campus, encouraging SPORTS and creating a sportsmen’s spirit among students, and maintaining respect and rights of each individuals who are the part of IDEAS.

CONCEPT -‘S’ Consist of a core group and the supportive team which includes Executives from fourth year and Associates from III and II years.

HISTORY OF CONCEPT 'S'

The journey of creating CONCEPT ‘S’ has a lot many efforts given by many people in past five years. Especially the legacy started with the very first batch of IDEAS, Nagpur. It takes courage to form a complete new organization which caters to the learning and enjoyment of each and every student here at IDEAS. Following the footprints of past batches; it is the absolute responsibility of the upcoming batches to maintain the legacy.

The CONCEPT ‘S’ got its first general secretary, Mr. Richard Alves, and also his team from 2009 Batch.
This year the legacy is maintained and the responsibility is headed by Sandeep Pathe (IV year) and team. 

METHODOLOGY AND FUTURE OBJECTIVES

The Council has assigned each month with different interesting themes, also it has divided the working Saturday in two different sections. The first event taking place in one of the working Saturday is the ‘PRE-FEST’. These are the events which encourages brotherhood enhancing senior junior relationship. Hence the competition happens on the base map of Groups (Group A, Group B, Group C, Group D) made for FIESTA. And the marks scored by respective groups will be added to the mega event of FIESTA scheduled for February. But the ‘Pre-Fest’ will be a spot event where the brief will be revealed on spot to the groups and the groups will be given a time to prepare and perform. So that the marking should be carried on by JURY. Secondly, there would be events like workshop, interactive session, and Guest lecture on the assigned theme of respective month.

To get a detail knowledge about the functioning of CONCEPT ‘S’, also the code of conduct of students and the rights of each individual student, one can go through the constitution of CONCEPT ‘S’ provided  with the general secretary.

Finally guys the council is incomplete without the contribution, and coordination of each and every individual student from IDEAS, Nagpur.
