The fourth academic year in the life of a student pursuing architecture, marks the widening of horizons in terms of his / her architectural lexicon, since the scale of problems are converted into macro - level with  varying complexity. The introduction of subjects like URBAN DESIGN, are a major reason for refinement of vocabulary of budding architects.

The fourth year students of I.D.E.A.S., Nagpur, visited the city of Indore, Madhya Pradesh in the month of September 2013 to study, analyse and draw out conclusions based on certain predefined parameters about the old city core of Indore, which helped them realize the dynamics and city growth patterns and much more. The overall extract of this studio would come up in the form of an architectural intervention in the precinct of the study area, which should respond to it's surroundings in a positive manner.
The documentation required as a backing for the ultimate result - the proposal, began late in the month of September itself under the guidance of Professor Harshwardhan Nagpure, and Professor Veepa Jariwala and witnessed an open house jury on 10th of February 2014 at I.D.E.A.S., Nagpur by Mr. Raj Waswani, a prominent architect from Indore. The jury was witnessed by students belonging to other batches as well and had a great response.
The juror, Mr. Raj Waswani was assisted by Professor Harshwardhan Nagpure, Professor Veepa Jariwala, and the H.O.D., Mr. Milind Gujarkar, prof. Ketan Sir and Harshal Sir
